What to Wear

5 TIPS FOR HOLIDAY PHOTOS

I’ve put together a few easy tips to look your best for A family photo session.

  1. DRESS MOM FIRST - This tip is number one for a reason. Typically, mom is going to be the hardest to dress and we know when mom feels good, the whole family feels good. Once her wardrobe is selected, start building out the rest fo the family.

  2. BE YOURSELF, BUT BE DRESSY - Confusing right? Take your everyday style up a notch. The memories you create in these photos will last for years to come, this is the time dress up a little.

  3. COORDINATE, BUT DON’T MATCH - remember family photos with everyone in a white t-shirt and jeans? those days are long gone. families can never go wrong with a mix of neutral colors but varying in pattern. another option is choosing a single color that will be the thread through everyone’s wardrobe.

  4. Don’t forget about shoes - whether you prefer an athletic shoes, heels or cowboy boots, make sure they are neat and clean. nothing ruins a stunning look like worn or dirty shoes.

Incorporate something special - this is the perfect time to wear an heirloom piece of jewelry, a favorite scarf or even your child’s “lovie”. Have a dino your kid won’t put down - bring it! these are the memories you’ll want to remember
